Police says the actress was to blame for the slight mishap. The 22-year-old former child star was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn, causing another vehicle to hit her. Although it was determined that Bynes was at fault, no crime was committed, according to Sgt. Murrel Pettway of the Los Angeles Police Department. He said to the publication, "The other driver complained of minor injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident. After appearing in several successful television series on Nickelodeon in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Bynes has moved into a film career, starring in several films aimed at teenage audiences, including She's the Man, and Hairspray. Career: Bynes was trained as an actress by Arsenio Hall and Richard Pryor at a comedy camp, and began professionally acting at the age of seven, appearing in a television advertisement for Buncha Crunch candies.
