Blond-hair blue-eyed beauty Anna Falchi was born Anna Kristiina Palomaki on April 22, 1972, in Tampere, Finland. A mix of Finnish and Italian roots, Falchi was raised by her mother, who enrolled her daughter in a modeling school in the 1980s. In 1989, Falchi won the title of Miss Cinema, which led to her being cast in a commercial for the Bank of Rome. The 5'10" Falchi modeled for a few years before deciding to pursue a film career. She appeared in several Italian movies, as well as a few international productions. Her most well-known films are Cemetery Man (1994), Celluloide (1996) and Poor But Beautiful (1996). Coinciding with her acting, the model did advertising work for Marcolin, Infiore bras, and Daniela Bongiorno jeans. She also made a splash on Italian TV by hosting and co-hosting a variety of pageants. Showing her versatility, Falchi has also acted in a few Italian theater productions. She appeared in many films, with the most recent being the comedy Nessun messaggio in segreteria released in 2005. She has also been a popular television personality, hosting various specials on Italian TV. |
