July 28, 2008: "Halle Berry Takes Paparazzi To Court" Halle Berry is snapping back at the photographer who snapped pictures of her and her brand-new baby. An attorney for the actress says a criminal complaint has been filed, and that an investigation of the incident is under way. Pictures of the Oscar-winning actress and four-month-old Nahla Ariela Aubry showed up on the Internet and in a pair of celebrity magazines. In a statement, Berry challenges the claim that the photos were taken when she was "out and about in Los Angeles." Berry says the shooter trespassed on her private property and took the pictures of her and her baby in their backyard. A lawyer for the actress says there are witnesses who can prove that the photographers in the middle of what he calls a "very blatant and invasive trespass." *** July 23, 2008: "Halle Berry Shows Baby's Picture" The first exclusive pictures of Halle Berry's daughter could have been worth millions, if she only decided to sell it and not show it the "normal" way. The A-list star, who gave birth on March 16 to daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, is yet to show the world her four-month-old bundle of joy. It was speculated that it could have been sold for millions if she opted to sell it to a willing magazine, just as the norm nowadays with celebrities. But lo and behold! The 41-year-old multi award-winning actress did something only ordinary citizens would have done, she proudly showed Nahla's picture in her wallet while paying at the counter of a boutique in Los Angeles. And while she won't be able to "pimp" the pictures for millions now, it's actually good to hear there are still normal people around Hollywood these days. Controversy: In February 2000, Berry was involved in a car accident in which she struck a vehicle after running a red light, and left the scene before the police arrived. Berry, who had sustained a head injury, stated she had no recollection of the accident and pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge. She paid a fine, made restitution to the other driver, performed community service, and was placed on three years’ supervised probation by the Los Angeles County Adult Probation Office.
