Music hardcore punk Hazen Street band pictures (pic) and photo gallery, albums covers pictures. The band features Freddy Cricien and Hoya of New York hardcore band Madball; Toby Morse of melodic hardcore band H2O; David Kennedy of pop punk band Box Car Racer, Over My Dead Body, and later Angels and Airwaves; and Mackie Jason of hardcore band The Cro-Mags. Chad Gilbert of Shai Hulud and later New Found Glory co-wrote and helped record every song on the album, but he was soon dismissed from Hazen Street by New Found Glory's record label due to a contract dispute. He was replaced by Mitts of Madball. They became known while opening for P.O.D. in the summer of 2004 (Blindside and Lacuna Coil also played on this tour). On July 20, 2004, soon after the tour was completed, Hazen Street released their self-titled debut album, Hazen Street on DC Flag Records, an Epic Records imprint owned by twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte. They played on the 2004 Vans Warped Tour in support of the album. On August 31st 2005, the band posted an update on their website, reporting that they would begin to work on a new record at the end of 2005, label to be announced. However, there has been no website updates since then, and nothing has been heard regarding this new album. In November 2006, it was announced that their song "Are You Ready?" would be the official theme song for WWE Survivor Series 2006, the twentieth annual Survival Series pay-per-view. The event took place at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on November 26, 2006. In 2006 they played only two shows: on December 16 in New York City, New York and on December 17 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. No new tour dates are currently scheduled. Members: Toby Morse.
