August 4, 2008: "Bad cook Jessica Biel"
Jessica Biel made her dog sick when she tried to cook for boyfriend Justin Timberlake. The 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' star reportedly attempted to make him a romantic meal, but Justin couldn't stomach her food. A source said: "Jessica made Justin this really disgusting meal. He didn't like it, so when she went out to run some errands he tried to slip the remaining food to Jessica's Pit Bull Terrier Tina. But as soon as Tina had eaten it, she threw up! "When Jessica got back, she asked Justin what he thought of the food and he told her it was delicious. But he finally confessed and she found the congealed food in a pile by Tina's water bowl." It was recently reported Justin is planning to propose to Jessica, and his grandmother Sadie is already planning the ceremony, insisting the pair should marry Jessica in Justin's mother Lynne's backyard. *** July 14, 2008: "Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel Are A Kress Couple" Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel leave Kress nightclub together after its grand opening in Los Angeles on Friday. The couple were offered free wieners by a passer-by, which they accepted before they drove off! Mmm, late-night hot dogs! The Chicago Tribune has a great article that Justin wrote himself–it’s just random thoughts. Here are some snippets: – I know Ray Allen pretty well. I’m excited to say congrats to him. I’ve never met [American auto racing driver] Danica Patrick. I’d like to meet Danica. I think she’s talented. – When I was a kid, my idols weren’t Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. It was Michael Jordan. I was convinced I was going to be a basketball player but I never grew. But I think I’m doing OK. – In recent years, I would say Tiger Woods. I think Tiger Woods is the Michael Jordan of this era. The most recognizable athletes are probably him and David Beckham. I would probably say my favorite athlete is Tiger Woods. *** July 13, 2008: "Jessica Biel Talks Marriage And Kids" Though boyfriend Justin Timberlake swears there isn't anything of the sort in the works, Jessica Biel says that she'd welcome a loving marriage and kids. "You know, the actual idea of signing those papers and doing all this stuff about it, I've never been someone who's like, 'I have to, have to, have to have it,'" the 26-year-old actress says in the latest Harper's Bazaar. "But the idea of being with somebody I care about, who's my soul mate, that sounds groovy." As for becoming a mother someday, the actress says, "it's something that I feel is a rite of passage as a woman." If she eventually has children, she says she'll aim for a balance between family and career. "Why can't I have both? Why can't I have everything?" she adds. *** July 11, 2008: "Jessica Biel Has No Plans To Get Married" Jessica Biel has no desire to get married. The actress - who has been dating Justin Timberlake since last year - insists she won't be upset if she doesn't ever walk up the aisle. She said: "The actual idea of signing those papers and doing all this stuff ... I've never been someone who's like, 'I have to, have to, have to have it.'" "But the idea of being with somebody I care about, who is my soul mate, that sounds groovy!" The 26-year-old beauty also says she would like to have children at some point but is too busy concentrating on her career at the moment. She added to Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I think when you make a decision to have a family and children, everything else comes second. But if I choose to have a family, I would hope to create a balance, because I don't want to lose my sense of identity, my career, and my independence. Why can't I have both? Why can't I have everything? So many women do it." *** July 1, 2008: "Jessica Biel Blogs On MySpace" Jessica Biel has launched her first MySpace blog. The 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry' actress announced she has finally got online after curing her technophobia. She wrote: "I have been 'Internet challenged' long enough and am thrilled to join the tech revolution!" She added: "Plus, I only have four friends and am in dire need of more. Just kidding, I have six." The blog - posted on Sunday - revealed the 26-year-old is currently filming 'Nailed' in South Carolina with Jake Gyllenhaal and Tracy Morgan. Jessica also talked about upcoming film 'Die A Little' based on a book by Meagan Abbott, in which she hopes to play the lead. She wrote: "It's a noir set in Hollywood during the glamorous 1950s. I loved the book and I think it has major cinematic potential, but I'm getting a first hand look at how difficult development is. Hopefully, I won't be too old by the time we shoot this thing so I can play the main character. Fingers crossed." The actress also wrote about her beloved dog Tina, claiming the pet isn't "really into blogging." It finished: "OK, that's it for now. I'm headed back to set. Hopefully this was a successful first try and I'll catch ya on the flip side!!" *** June 12, 2008: "Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake: Dinner Date" There are all kinds of rumors about them possibly moving in together, as well as speculation that they'll get engaged soon, but Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are just happy to be together. Birth name: Jessica Claire Biel. Born: March 3, 1982 Ely, Minnesota, USA. Height: 5' 7.5" (1.71 m). Jessica Biel biography (bio): Early life: She was born in Ely, Minnesota to Jonathan Edward Biel and Kimberly Conroe. Biel, who has a younger brother, Justin, grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where her family had moved when she was very young. She initially trained to become a vocalist with the hope of performing in musical theater and appeared in several musicals at an early age including The Sound of Music, Annie, Beauty and the Beast and Anything Goes. Career: It wasn't until Biel attended the International Modeling & Talent Association Convention in Los Angeles in 1994 when her career started to take off as a fashion model. However, her big break came when at 14 years old she landed the role of Mary Camden on the WB TV Series 7th Heaven. The family drama from Aaron Spelling and Brenda Hampton became the most popular (and remains the longest running) series on the fledgling network. Jessica's film career also began at age 15 when she played alongside Peter Fonda in his Golden Globe winning performance in Ulee's Gold (1997). Aside from acting, Jessica became a spokesmodel for L'Oreal cosmetics in 2002. In 2000, Biel posed topless in a layout of Gear magazine. It was controversial because she was only 17 at the time of the shoot. Her frustration and fear about being typecast was one of the reasons that led to her decision. She blamed her saintly image on 7th Heaven for limiting her film career, including losing a lead role in American Beauty, which eventually went to Thora Birch. Jessica also hoped that by posing she would get out of her 7th Heaven contract, which she accomplished. She later said she regretted posing for the magazine and regards it as a learning experience. Jessica returned to 7th Heaven full time for the 2001—2002 season and then focused her attention on her movie career and has made minimal TV appearances since then. After her departure from 7th Heaven she accepted projects mainly geared to teens and young adults including Summer Catch (2001), The Rules of Attraction (2002) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). The movies were met with mild reaction from the box office and received mixed reviews, with at least as many negative as positive ones as well. She has also had starring roles in Blade: Trinity (2004) and Stealth (2005), the latter of which was a box-office flop, losing a significant amount of money. Biel was also rumored to be up for the part of Elizabeth in The Fog (a part originated by scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis). Later reports stated Biel did not want to do any more horror films. The part eventually went to Maggie Grace of Lost. Turning down the role proved to be a wise move: the remake was a box office flop, which had been predicted by various critics, as the film was not screened for the press prior to its release. After a nearly three year absence, Jessica surprised her fans by making one final appearance in the series finale of 7th Heaven in May 2006. The series was later renewed, at last minute, for an 11th season. Biel has not made any future appearances as of early 2007. After several indifferent feature films, her film career finally blossomed when she played a turn-of-the-century duchess in The Illusionist (2006), which received good reviews and generated a profit at the box office. Her latest film, Home of the Brave (2006), about soldiers returning from Iraq, premiered in Los Angeles on December 5, 2006. She next starred opposite Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore in Next (2007), a science fiction action film based on The Golden Man, a short story by noted author Philip K. Dick. She also appeared opposite Adam Sandler in the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and will appear in A Woman of No Importance, taking over Lindsay Lohan's part, since the latter recently dropped out of the project. Personal life: Jessica attended the exclusive private Lycée Français de Los Angeles for high school. In fall 2000, she enrolled in undergraduate study at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. Having attended there during fall 2000, spring 2001 and fall 2002 semesters, she left before completing a degree program to concentrate on her acting career. Biel's hobbies include ballet, soccer, running, yoga and hiking. She has a dog named East. She recently bought a house close to her parents in Colorado. Biel is the co-founder of MTDN (Make the Difference Network) and she supports several non-profit groups, including PETA and the home rehabilitation organization Rebuilding Together, as well as GLAAD. She is also a vegan. Biel currently resides in Los Angeles. She dated fellow actor Chris Evans from 2001 to 2006, with at least one time "off" during that period. Together, they appeared in the films London and Cellular. She also dated another fellow actor, Adam LaVorgna, who portrayed the character of Robbie in 7th Heaven, for about two years. Jessica had been linked to New York Yankees star shortstop Derek Jeter. On July 18, 2006, Biel auctioned herself for a charity event to help raise money for medical expenses for Colorado teen Molly Bloom, who lost her leg and part of her pelvis in an auto accident. The winning bid for the lunch date with Biel was $30,000 paid by 28-year-old John Schiffner. Biel quipped, "I promise, I'm a cheap date." The charity event raised $38,000 total. The lunch date was set for August 18, 2006.[8] Biel also donated money to the daughter of actor Rey-Phillip Santos for her appendix operation. In January 2007, Biel was linked to singer Justin Timberlake when pictures surfaced of the two snowboarding in Park City, Utah during the Sundance Film Festival. On May 12, 2007, the gossip was refueled with the release of romantic pictures of Timberlake and Biel on multiple dates, specifically caught kissing while dining in the UK accompanied by producer/mogul Timbaland and the Manchester United footballer Alan Smith. Timberlake has said he is drawn to independent women.
