Indian Actress Kangana Ranaut pictures, photo galleries and biography
Born: March 23, 1987 in Himachal Pradesh, India Kangana Ranaut is from a village called Bhambla in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Kangana Ranaut completed most of her schooling in Shimla. Kangana Ranaut studied science and wanted to be a star all time.In a passion for acting, Kangana Ranauttravelled to Delhi, where she did several theatre shows. Kangana Ranaut moved to Mumbai to try her luck in movies. At a very young age Kangana Ranaut received the offer for Mahesh Bhatt's 2006 film Gangster. During September 2005 Bollywood Film-maker Anurag Basu spotted her having coffee in a cafe in Bombay, and signed her up for this movie. This was followed by another acclaimed performance in Woh Lamhe (2006). Later Kangana Ranaut starred in yet another Anurag Basu's hit film Life In A... Metro as a confused girl who is looking for a real love and in Shakalaka Boom Boom (2007) as an aspiring singer. Kangana Ranaut was announced as heroine of Jeeva's forthcoming Tamil venture, Dhaam Dhoom on February 19, 2007. She has at present, a current offer to star in an US based film entitled "Between the Night and the Moon"(2009). Set in Kashmir and Miami, Florida. Directed by Italian Director Gilda Pianelli. |
