Born: August 6, 1983 Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Influenced by Rufus Wainwright, David Mead, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, and Radiohead, Pigg composes songs with strong hooks and expressive melodies. Pigg released his self-titled debut LP on July 25, 2006. Pigg was born in Nashville, Tennessee. His father was a studio veteran and his mother was fond of poetry. When Pigg was a child, his family moved to Chicago, where he attended Grace Lutheran School. He returned to Nashville as a teenager and applied himself to more favourable interests such as Algebra and Chemistry. During his adolescence, it was his father who offered him informal music education and encouraged his curiosity with music. He also credits his mother for nourishing his poetic side. Soon, he showed his talent and began to compose his own songs. |
