Born in Welwyn Garden City, England, Snowdon lives in Epping Forest. She moved to London to attend the Italia Conti School of Performing Arts, and worked briefly as a waitress. She was spotted by a Premier Model Management agent at age 19 while dancing in a London nightclub. After modelling for covers shots for Vogue, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan, Snowdon first attracted major attention appearing in an advertisement for Special K. Now best know for her commercial and lingerie modelling, she went on to be the "elevator girl" for Lynx deodorant in 2003, and has done ads for Mercedes-Benz, Martini, Dove soap, Neutrogena and numerous catalogues. The high profile modelling career led to appearances in just about every single men's magazine, including Maxim, Arena, Loaded, Sky and GQ. She has featured on FHMs List of 100 Sexiest Women every year between 1996 and 2005 except for 1998. A 1997 album "Spell It Out" failed to sell, and a starring role in Channel 4s short film "Man's Best Friend" did not perform much better. However, Snowdon's look has made her an eye-catching presenter, including FightBox on BBC THREE with Trevor Nelson, MTV UK's Select, Top of the pops, The Big Breakfast, Radio 1's One big Sunday, Miss World 2004, GMTV, Spring break Live, V2003, CD: UK, LA Pool party and various ITV Movie premiere shows. She has taken over from Lisa Butcher as the new judge and presenter on the second series of Britain's Next Top Model. Presented Lisa Snowdon's All access for VH1. In 2005 Snowdon became an ambassador for the Breast cancer care charity. She has recently been announced as the new co-presenter of Through the keyhole with Sir David Frost and seen as the face of a Taxiwise safety campaign and After eight mint straws. For some years, she has been on-off dating actor George Clooney, whom she met on an advert for Martini in Spain in 2000. During one hiatus she was linked with actors Gary Dourdan and David Walliams. The pair broke up permanently in Autumn 2005, as Snowdon refused to move to Hollywood, while Clooney refused to settle down and stop partying. She keeps in shape by, quote: "Sex keeps me in shape. I don't diet, I eat what I like. I love Mars bars and I smoke and drink. But I love running off in the middle of the day to make love. It really burns up calories." Lisa has been known to present shows in her bare feet, particularly on MTV and VH-1.
