April 21, 2008: "Animal Activists Sued for Matchbox 20 Cancellation" Romeo Entertainment, a booking company, was mad because Matchbox 20 canceled their performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days, which claims to be the world’s biggest outdoor rodeo. Matchbox 20 canceled the ap[appearance because of the mistreatment of animals at the events. Romeo Entertainment is now suing animal activists, They are claiming that the animal activist group SHARK contacted the band’s agents and used “false and misleading information and the threat of negative publicity” to get the band to drop out of their July 18 performance at Cheyenne Frontier Days.
