July 8, 2008: "Mel B Wants More Children In The Future" Mel B "definitely" wants children with husband Stephen Belafonte. The former Spice Girl is keen to expand her family even further with movie producer Stephen. She said: "Yeah, we definitely want children. Not just yet - I think in a few years, definitely." Mel also revealed she thinks the secret to a happy marriage is being good friends with your spouse. She added to Britain's Star magazine: "I think marriage agrees with me - I'm happy all the time! Melanie Brown biography (bio): Melanie Brown is an English pop singer best known as one of the members of the girl band the Spice Girls, one of the most successful female groups of all time. She was given the nickname "Scary Spice" by the British media, due to her outrageous attitude, manner of dress, and voluminously curly hair. Brown is of mixed race parentage, born to white English mother Andrea and a black Nevisian father Martin. She has a younger sister named Danielle. She studied Performing Arts at the now famous Intake High School in her home city of Leeds, before entering the entertainment industry. This lead to her gaining work as a dancer in Blackpool, but ultimately lead to her successfully auditioning for an all girl group. Brown saw an advertisement for an audition in The Stage, a newspaper for actors, singers and dancers. After an audition for Heart Management (Chris and Bob Herbert), Brown started her music career in a band known as Touch.
