Spouse(s): -Richard Hogan (27 August 1983 - 1985) (divorced). -Laurence Luckinbill (1965 - 1976) (divorced) they have two children. Robin Strasser biography (bio): Robin Strasser is an American actress. Her middle name comes from V-E Day, which was proclaimed the day she was born. Raised in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, Strasser graduated from the High School of Performing Arts. After high school, on full scholarship, she attended the Yale University School of Drama. Sharpening her acting abilities in theatre, she gained a notable reputation, founding the American Conservatory Theater and acting on Broadway, where she appeared in Chapter Two and The Shadow Box. The former play was where she met her husband Laurence Luckinbill (m. 1965-1976), a marriage which would produce her two sons, Nicholas (b. 1971) and Ben (b. 1975). Strasser has acted on several of television's daytime dramas, including originating the role of Rachel Davis Matthews on Another World (1967-1972) and playing Dr. Christina Karras Martin on All My Children, (1976-1979). She is perhaps best known, though, for her Daytime Emmy Award-winning portrayal of the vindictive Dorian Cramer Lord on One Life to Live (OLTL) (1979-1987, 1993-2000, 2003-present). Strasser is best friends with fellow OLTL actress, Erika Slezak. She keeps her Emmy Award on the mantel of her living room fireplace and in her spare time, she practices and teaches yoga. |
