She currently plays Louise Summers in the popular Channel 4 series Hollyoaks. Roxanne attended Royal Holloway, University of London, where she obtained a degree in Politics. After leaving university she moved through many jobs including a recruitment consultant and a waitress before applying for drama school. It was at drama school where she decided to attend the open auditions for Hollyoaks: On the Pull where she impressed judges and was subsequently cast in the show. In 2006, McKee took part in the Reality TV show Hollyoaks Extreme Challenge. In 2007, she won the British Soap Award for 'Sexiest Female', voted for by the British public. Roxanne was voted number 91 in the FHM top 100 sexiest women in the world 2006. In 2007 she improved to number 42 in the same poll. She was also the cover girl for FHM's August 2007 edition.
