August 4, 2008: "Selma Blair Advised To "Take An Acid Trip"" Selma Blair has been told to "take an acid trip" by Guillermo Del Toro. The filmmaker advised the actress to take hallucinogenic drug LSD to help "fix her head" because she is always negative about herself and never admits she is talented. She told Arena magazine: "You know what Guillermo thinks? That I should go to Amsterdam and take an acid trip and it would fix my head. I think he could be right you know." The actress hasn't yet acted on his advice, but won't rule out experimenting with the substance. She added: "I've done some things to excess but I hate pot and I've never done acid or ecstasy."
