June 1, 2008" Steven Tyler Speaks on Rehab Stint"
Steven Tyler recently issued a statement about his recent stint in rehab. Steven Tyler claims that his trademark athletic performances injured his feet, requiring surgery and causing him a bunch of pain. Steven Tyler said “The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time. The ‘foot repair’ pain was intense, greater than I’d anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic. I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet. Make no mistake, AEROSMITH has no plans to stop rocking. There’s a new album to record, then another tour.” *** May 23, 2008: "Steven Tyler in Rehab" Aerosmith front man Steven Tyler has checked himself into Las Encinas Hospital, a drug rehabilitation clinic. It’s the same facility where the reality show ‘Celebrity Rehab’ was filmed. While his reps had no comment about it, Steven Tyler is reportedly in there to get treatment for substance abuse. He needs to figure out that while he’s still living the rock star life, his body may not be able to handle it that much longer. *** Music musician and songwriter Steven Tyler picture (pic) and photo gallery.
