The Feeling are a five-piece BRIT award-nominated English band from Sussex and London. The guitar-based "soft rock" band categorise their music as "pop". Their "middle-of-the-road" sound has been compared to a range of acts including Supertramp, 10cc, The Bluetones, Electric Light Orchestra, Andrew Gold, Keane, and Elton John. Following a limited release of their debut "Fill My Little World" in late 2005, the band entered the UK Top 10 with their first full release "Sewn" in March 2006. The single was one of the year's biggest radio hits. Their debut album Twelve Stops and Home was released in the UK on June 5, 2006 and on February 27, 2007 in the US. The album title refers to the frequent journey Dan used to take on the underground home from central London to Bounds Green on the Piccadilly Line on the London Underground. It also refers to the number of tracks on the album. In early 2007, Planet Sound announced that The Feeling were the most played band of 2006 on UK radio.
