Music power pop The Pink Spiders band piuctures (pic) and photo gallery, albums and singles covers pictures. The Pink Spiders are an American power pop band from Nashville, Tennessee, that formed in 2003. By January of 2004, the band recorded an EP The Pink Spiders are Taking Over!. They were later signed with CI Records in the summer of 2004. The band toured nonstop on the record, battling the chaos offered by life on the road; one show included their trailer catching on fire in Buffalo, and the band slept in New York City subways when they had nowhere to sleep. Their debut album, Hot Pink, was released by CI Records on January 4, 2005. Three months after the record was released, several major-label offers were on the table, and in April of 2005, the band signed with Geffen Records. The Pink Spiders have since been named as one of Alternative Press' "100 Bands you need to know in 2006. The Pink Spiders played on the Vans Warped Tour 2006. The Pink Spiders also released their second album Teenage Graffiti on August 1, 2006 by Geffen Records. They have toured with many popular bands such as 30 Seconds to Mars, Good Charlotte Yellowcard, Sugarcult, and Damone. They just finished a USA tour with the band Kill Hannah before heading to the UK to support Fall Out Boy. Members: -Matt Friction on Guitar/Vocals. -Jon Decious on Bass. -Bob Ferrari on Drums.
