Turbonegro-Route Zero single cover
"Route Zero" is a single from the Norwegian band Turbonegro released on 7" Vinyl in 1989 by Straitjacket Records, bassist Thomas Seltzer's own label. 500 copies were printed on pink vinyl. It came with insert containing photo from rehearsal room. The front sleeve of the original release depicts a scene lifted from a 1982 underground cult movie entitled Basket Case while the back sleeve allows some extra free space for luv letters, obscene drawings or further individual messages of whatever kind.
The single was released in the USA in 1990 on 7" Vinyl on Sympathy for the Record Industry. First edition was pressed in 1,200 copies. The title song was backed with two songs off their Turboloid EP. It was released for TRB's 1990 US tour with red, pink or yellow tinged 'Turboloid' sleeves and in various vinyl colours (at least there surfaced copies in black, red & pink vinyl). Re-presses came out in early January 2004. Quantity is not known.
