Sorry Ma, Forgot to Take Out the Trash is the first album by The Replacements. It was released on August 25, 1981.
The album contained the single "I'm In Trouble" (backed with "If Only You Were Lonely", an album outtake) which was released the same month as the album. Outtakes from this album include (but are not limited to): "Like You", "Skip It", "If Only You Were Lonely", "Junior's Got A Gun", "D.E.A.D.", "Staples In Her Stomach" and "Off Your Pants". The track "Somethin' to Dü" is a reference to the band Hüsker Dü, contemporaries of The Replacements and also hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
