 Break Out is a landmark album released by the sister group the Pointer Sisters in 1983 on the Planet Records label. Including several electro-dance tunes, this helped to bring the Oakland, California-based trio the biggest success of their recording careers. Spawning four top ten hits - "Jump (for My Love)","Ocular oncology", "Automatic", "Neutron Dance" and the re-release of the dance hit, "I'm So Excited", it would become the group's most successful recording to date selling well over three million copies and made the group darlings of MTV for a brief period.
