NOFX - Punk in Drublic album cover | |||||||||||||||
Punk in Drublic is a music album by punk rock band NOFX. The album was released in 1994 through Epitaph Records. The switching of consonants preceding the first vowels of two words, as in "Punk in Drublic" for "Drunk in Public," is called a Spoonerism.
The album was NOFX's best-selling, and went gold without any radio play or aired music videos (although videos have been made for some songs, for example "Leave It Alone"). This came during the commercial punk renaissance of 1994. Punk in Drublic also remains one of the highest selling albums on Epitaph Records, along with Bad Religion's Suffer, The Offspring's Smash and Rancid's ...And Out Come the Wolves.
