| Headstrong is the debut solo album by High School Musical and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody star, Ashley Tisdale. The album features the hits Be Good To Me & He Said She Said & was released on February 6, 2007 via Warner Bros Records.[2]The album premiered at #5 on the Billboard 200 with 64,000 copies sold in it's first week. "Not Like That" is the confirmed second single to be released. The album has sold over 254,000 copies in the US. Ashley has confirmed the album is scheduled for a reissue sometime in September 2007.
The album was released on February 6, 2007. It peaked at number 5 on Billborad 200 and stayed on the charts for 13 weeks, making Headstrong the most successful album of any High School Musical cast member. The album features mostly original material but does have two cover songs. Track #6, "Unlove You", is a cover of the Sarah Hudson song of the same name from her 2004 debut album Naked Truth and Tata Young's "Zoom". The album received mixed reviews. Many fans were disappointed at Ashley's lack of promotion for Headstrong, especially dealing with music videos, since "Be Good To Me" was not official. Ashley later confirmed that due to the filming of High School Musical 2 that she was not able to promote the album. Pictures were published recently of Ashley filming a music video, and this was confirmed later, saying that Ashley was filming three music videos. One of them is "He Said, She Said". Confirmed on July 5, 2007, the other 2 videos are "Not Like That" and "Suddenly", as Ashley said in a YouTube clip from her account.
