St. Cecilia: The Elektra Recordings is an album by the hard rock band, Blue Öyster Cult, recorded in 1970, but not released until 2001. At that time the band was known as Oaxaca and the Stalk Forest Group. The album was originaly recorded for Elektra Records twice but never released. One of the songs would show up on later albums, slightly altered as "I'm On The Lamb (But I Ain't No Sheep)" , on their first album under the same name, then reworked for their second album as "The Red & The Black"
* Between the St. Cecilia sessions and the Blue Oyster Cult sessions, bassist Andy Winter was replaced by Joe Bouchard, brother of drummer/singer/lyricist Albert * The original album, including extra material was released in 2001 by Rhino Handmade under the supervision of Roland Worthington Hand as RHM2 7716 limited to a numbered edition of 5000 copies.
