Spin Doctors From Hell!
I fell in love with Rob's persona and style in the 4th grade, and when I heard La Sexorcisto for the 1st time, there was no going back! La Sex. was amazing- a little trying in length and rythm, but at that age you can understand; none of the theatrics of Hellbilly Deluxe to glue a kid's attention span yet. But to a more mature ear and patience, this album was/is terrific and groovy as hell! Pictured here, is the newer line-up minus Ivan (Sex. drummer) and created a much darker and heavier indusrial/hard core album: with the last track of Astro Creep 2000's "Blood, Milk and Sky" on a hauntingly beauitiful and dark spoken lyric piece which leads on out to the hidden (and un-labeled: Where the sidewalk ends) track of the continued instrumentals...brilliant.
